About me

Hi there! I’m a professional working in the corporate world who is passionate about sharing my experience in the hope that it can help others in navigating some difficult situations in their career.

Its great looking back on how far I’ve since my 20s. From when I completed my undergraduate university degrees, a post-graduate degree and officially began my career. I think back to all the skills I’ve gained that I never thought I’d have, the difficult situations and personalities I’ve encountered, how I’ve managed to navigate each one.

I am proud to say that each day I spent at work all helped shape me professionally. Every bit of advice, every rejection, every project, every interaction, every mistake, every job offer…

My career so far has centred around being in a corporate environment. Although my experience has come from dynamics in this setting, I hope you can adapt some of them to the career path you have chosen.

Now, in my early thirties, I feel like my career is starting to take exciting leaps forward in ways that I had always hoped and worked very hard for. I was able to establish myself and build a strong foundation in my first decade of working. Although I have made mistakes, they were all worth it to help me learn how to handle and react in certain situations.

I have just started a new phase of my life with balancing a career and a baby! I’m nervous about it and note entirely sure how it will go but I look forward to sharing my experience and insights in the hope it will help others going through something similar.
